Songlines Magazine described Kishon Khan’s Lokkhi Terra as “London’s best kept secret and probably the world’s best Afrobeat-Cuban-Bangladeshi group”. Here they team up with ex-Fela Kuti keyboardist Dele Sosimi, the UK’s multiple award winning Afrobeat ambassador, to bring you a new musical mash-up between heavyweights of the London scene. CubAfrobeat is a groovetrain, travelling between Lagos Nigeria and Havana Cuba, but with the waiting/dancing room in London.

Featuring members of both Lokkhi Terra and The Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, this is a world premiere and a precursor to a much awaited album due out at the end of 2014. Everyone say “yeah, yeah, si, si”
