Cuba’s favourite dance company makes its Barbican debut. A stunning blend of Afro Caribbean rhythms, jazzy American modernism and inflections from European ballet, Danza Contemporánea de Cuba’s hybrid, hothouse style has been evoking the sensual heart of Cuban spirit for over 50 years.
This electrifying new show sees the company team up with leading choreographers, including Olivier award winner Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, the UK’s Theo Clinkard and the Company’s very own Cuban wunderkind George Céspedes.
