Are you a Latin American, Spanish, or Portuguese artist based in the UK? Join us in celebrating La Línea’s 25th anniversary! We’re on the lookout for emerging talent to showcase at our iconic festival in 2025.
What is La Línea?
La Línea Festival is London’s celebration of Latin American music, founded by Como No, the team behind legendary shows with music icons such as Celia Cruz, Gilberto Gil, Natalia Lafourcade, Bebel Gilberto, Jorge Drexler, Buena Vista Social Club, Seu Jorge, Lila Downs, Mon Laferte, Café Tacvba, Cimafunk, Julieta Venegas and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. The festival has created countless landmark moments in London’s music history over the past 25 years. Each year, La Línea highlights incredible artists from Latin America, with past year performers like Lila Downs, Ana Tijoux, La Yegros, Nacao Zumbi and Los Tigres del Norte. We’ve hosted hundreds of shows at venues ranging from iconic spots like The Jazz Café and Union Chapel to legendary stages like The Barbican, Royal Albert Hall, and The O2 Arena.
Who can apply?
We are inviting UK-based musicians and bands who meet the following criteria:
- 🌍 Latin American, Latin American heritage, Spanish, or Portuguese: You must be of Latin American, have Latin American heritage, or be from Spain or Portugal living in the UK.
- 🎤 Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older.
- 🎸 Proven Music Experience: You should have experience in music , whether through album or single releases, live performances, or other significant milestones.
- 🎶 Genres: We welcome musicians from all genres, including but not limited to electronic, folk, salsa, samba, reggaeton, flamenco, bossa nova, cumbia, tropical, bachata, and experimental music.
La Línea celebrates diversity and inclusion, striving to create a space that reflects the wide-ranging cultural expressions of Latin, Spanish, and Portuguese music.
We strongly encourage applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds, including from black and minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, those from working class backgrounds, state school educated and people who have experienced forms of exclusion or marginalisation.

- 💼 Receive a performance fee & expenses: Selected artists will receive a performance fee and expense coverage. More details will be shared individually with each selected artist.
- 🎶 Gain exposure: Perform at one of the most prominent Latin music festivals in the UK, attracting media, industry professionals, and an enthusiastic audience.
When & Where?
📅 La Línea Festival 2025 will take place from the 22nd April to the 5th May.
📍 The festival will be hosted across multiple iconic venues in London, bringing together music fans and the vibrant Latin community.
How to apply:
To be considered for La Línea Festival 2025, please submit the following through our online form:
- A short biography (max. 200 words): Introduce yourself or your band, detailing your background, musical influences, and key achievements.
- Music sample or link: Provide a sample of your music, either through a digital file or a link to your latest release (e.g., Spotify, YouTube, Bandcamp, etc.).
- Live performance: A short video or audio clip showcasing your performance.
- Contact details: We will ask for your email address, phone number, and any social media handles or websites where we can learn more about your work.
